5K Race and 1K Fun Run/Walk
Please join us on September 28, 2019 for the 4th Annual 5 KAC Challenge & 1K Family Fun Run & Walk in the Town of Tonawanda, NY. The event is being organized by Kenmore Alliance Church and the races will take place in the picturesque Elmlawn Memorial Park. There will be terrific post-race festivities including awards & plenty of food!
START/FINISH
Both the 5K Race and 1K Family Fun Run & Walk will start and finish in the Elmlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, which is located next to the church (south side). Click here to view certified 5K course!

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Registration will remain open until the start of the respective races. Race day registration and packet pickup will take place at Kenmore Alliance Church from 7:00am until the start of the races at 8:15 am (1K Fun Run & Walk) and 9:00am (5K), respectively. The 5K and 1K Family Fun Run & Walk participants are guaranteed to receive an awesome offic
ial race shirt if registered prior to the cut-off date of 9/16/19. Thereafter, race shirts will be given on an availability basis for any registration subsequent to cut-off.

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking at Kenmore Alliance Church in their nicely paved parking lot (at 175 Bonnett Avenue). Therefore, please come early, relax, and enjoy the pre-race music on Race Day and what better way to spend a beautiful autumn morning in Western New York!
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Beautifully designed plaques (by Niagara Awards) will be presented to the 1st Place overall male and female 5K Race winners with awards (gold medals for first, silver for second and bronze for third place) will be given to the top three male and female 5K finishers in each of the following age groups:
14 and under | 15-19 | 20-24 | 25-29 | 30-34 | 35-39 | 40-44 | 45-49 | 50-54 | 55-59 | 60-64 | 65
-69 | 70 and older
Trophies will be presented to the top three youngsters (boy and girl finisher's) for the 1K Family Fun Run & Walk for participants under 10 years old. All others, regardless of their age, will receive an attractive commemorative Finisher’s Medal.
